Jenny Tan, O.D. was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She first attended Baylor University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and later returned home to earn her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating with honors. She completed her externship rotations at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas and Advanced Eye Care in Amarillo where she trained extensively in diagnosing and managing a variety of ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Her training has provided expertise in primary eye care, contact lens fittings, and co-management of cataract and refractive surgery, including LASIK. Dr. Tan is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and certified Glaucoma Specialist who is passionate about treating and managing ocular surface and dry eye disease. She is also an active member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

In her free time, Dr. Tan is always on the lookout for a new adventure. She enjoys trying new food and restaurants, being with her family, weightlifting, and traveling.
