Marketing Specialist Brittni Dumas Graduates from New Associate Training Program

Congratulations to TSO Network Market Specialist Brittni Dumas on her graduation from the TSO Network’s New Associate Training program. Brittni is the first graduate of the program from the TSO Network Office.

“The New Associates Training Program was beneficial. There are 27 sections. Some are shorter than others, so that you may move more quickly through some than others. After each chapter, there is a test to go over the materials in each module. I started at the end of November 2018 and finished the first week in September 2019, so about ten months. If someone can devote an hour and a half a day, they can complete the course efficiently. There were a few cases where I spent almost two hours in one section because there was a lot of information and plenty of notes to take.

If you do fail a test, you have three chances to pass it before the final grade is scored. The New Associates Training Program was beneficial to me because I was able to see and understand what goes on in a TSO office. It is good to know how opticians work with patients, including giving them the best care possible, and also how lenses and contacts work to help people see! Also, learning the anatomy of the eye was impressive as well!”
