4 z July 2018 Vision Quest 2018 f you missed this year’s Vision Quest, you missed a special treat. The theme of the conference was Make A Difference… through providing quality care. Helping people see the important things in life is everybody’s job, but making all of the different areas of responsibility work and consistently providing quality care to our patients is vital to the success of a TSO office. Vision Quest got off to a good start with Keynote Speaker Curtis Zimmerman. Curtis, who was the Vision Quest 2017 CE presenter and keynote, shared information on “The Magic of Leadership.” He shared information on topics vital to the success of the Doctors of TSO, such as: • Determining what type of leaders they are • Modifying behavior for optimal performance • Recognizing moments of leadership • Understanding the responsibilities incumbent upon successful leaders • Honing in on intuition and self-awareness Following his captivating presentation, Curtis mingled with attendees and shared his story with the audience. Day two and three of the conference consisted of continuing education classes hosted by Jay Binkowitz, Dr. Carole Burns, Sharon Carter, Dr. Mark Wright and the TSO Practice Consultant team. Sharon Carter, Founder of Eye Care Optometric Consulting, presented Professionalism in the Workplace; Communication with Patients; Patient Satisfaction vs. Patient Loyalty; and Marketing Benefits- Not Products, How to Hire. Jay Binkowitz, Founder of Gateway Provider Network, presented alongside the TSO Practice Consultant Team in interactive workshops The workshop taught participants how to build a large practice by concentrating on the key elements of practice successes: Customer Experience, Lost Revenue Opportunities & How to Reclaim Them, Building Sales without Selling, Wins and Losses in your Practice; and KPI that Drive Profits. Also, Doctors of TSO participated in educational panels focusing on: • How to use technology to build your practice • Effectively managing the practice finances • Purchasing land and constructing a building for your practice • Preparing an exit strategy Thank you shareholder Drs.
