Dr. Darrin Shandley is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. He is a graduate of Texas A&M, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. He continued his education at the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Darrin has trained at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, MS Eye Center of Houston, the Eye Wellness Center, the San Jose Clinic, and the Eye Center of the Heights in Houston. He received a Clinical Excellence Award and the Zelda Schiffman Award in Neuro-Ophthalmology. He is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, as well as the American Optometric Association. In his free time, Dr. Darrin enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He speaks both English and Spanish.
