Rising Above Our Ordinary

The greatest waste of our natural resources is the number of people who never meet their potential. If you think you can’t, you won’t. If you think you can, there’s a good chance you will. Even making the effort will make you feel like a new person. Are we reaching our full potentials or are we content with the way things are of our offices? Are we looking for another mountain to climb or just to stay as we are?

Recently, I went to Europe and visited several countries. Some countries thrive and enjoy prosperity.  Some countries, however, barely manage to survive. Why are they different? That is a legitimate question. Germany is a good example of a country committed to excellence. Most people speak English, which is not their mother tongue. Pleasantly, the bathrooms are always clean. They design many types of high-quality medical equipment and many trustworthy cars. The hotels are spotless, ergonomic and well-designed. Even workers are serious with their tasks. Why are they a leader in Europe? They are meticulous and fundamental about what they do.

Likewise, many optometry offices are growing consistently while some offices are struggling to pay the bills. A thriving optometrist refuses to sit idle waiting for something to happen. If you are looking for a breakthrough, I have some good news for you!  On November 17-18, 2012, Dr. Mark Wright will be coming to Houston to show us how to improve our offices and what are the steps to implementing those changes. A thriving office begins with a changed doctor who catches a vision and commits to excellence. Let’s attend this meeting to gain some inspiration and insight on how we can develop our offices.
