OptumHealth Updates

OptumHealth Vision has identified a system issue affecting various providers across their network.  Claims have been received and queued for payment; however, the amount paid out was zero.

Should you research the payment history for an authorization using the web portal, the status of an affected claim will display “Pending Payment.”  However, the web does not differentiate between claims that will actually pay on the next provider statement and claims that are stuck in pending status.  A screen print of the search result you may see is attached.

OHV is working to identify the root cause and when the issue is resolved, OHV will pay the claim and interest that might be owed per state regulation.  Please check your email for future updates on this situation.
