November 2017 l 3 New Texas State Optical Opens in West Katy/Fulshear area of Houston Dr. Lori Shulman, a current member of the TSO Network, along with Dr. Mona Moshtaghi have opened a new practice in the West Katy/Fulshear area of Houston that is exploding in growth. Dr. Shulman currently is also an owner in and operates the Texas State Optical located on Fry Road in Katy, TX. This TSO Katy location is a Platinum Practice and was featured in the Houston Business Journal representing the new Texas State Optical organization, owned by the Doctors of TSO. “I am really excited to add this new location to the growing TSO Network of offices in the greater Houston area. The potential in this growing area is outstanding”, said Dr. Shulman. Dr. Shulman is joined by an associate, Dr. Mona Moshtaghi and the two of them provide patient care at the new location. This new location is also the first to use an updated office design that was developed in conjunction with the Board of Directors and Eye Designs. It is contemporary and captures the Texas spirit that is so connected with the Texas State Optical brand. Utilizing iPads, communal table and contemporary seating areas it offers an environment that is appealing to the core patient community of mid 20’s through the 40’s demographic. It is a different experience than offered by more conventional optometry practices. “People are always commenting about how impressed they are with both the environment of our new design but also the patient experience it enables us to provide”, said Dr. Shulman. Dr. Shulman welcomes any Network Members who would like to visit the practice and get ideas for either opening a new office or remodeling their current office.
