2 l March 2018 Network News TSO to Host First Year Meet & Greets for Optometry Students It’s an annual tradition for the Doctors of TSO to welcome first year optometry students to an informal event to meet and mingle, enjoy a great meal and drinks. This year, TSO Network will be hosting a first year meet & greet for the first year students of both the University of Houston College of Optometry and Rosenberg School of Optometry! All Doctors of TSO are invited to attend. What a great way to start the semester! Please keep an eye out for an electronic invitation. RSO First Year Student Meet & Greet Thursday, March 22, 2018 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM Mamacita’s Restaurant & Cantina 8030 Interstate 10 West San Antonio, TX 78229 TSO at TOA 2018 Texas Optometric Association will host their 118th annual convention at Hilton Austin Hotel on February 22-25, 2018. The convention allows the Doctors of TSO to earn continuing education credits, attend panel discussions and network with other liked-minded professionals in the optometric industry. Texas State Optical sponsored the VIP dessert reception Thursday evening, which includes specialty desserts and cruise themed cocktails. Friday, TSO Network can be found in the exhibit hall connecting with optometrists and future optometrists. After the annual awards ceremony Saturday evening, TSO will host a Saturday evening event where convention attendees will be able to mingle and enjoy music from the Spazmatics.
