14 l March 2018 ABO Exam The American Board of Opticianry (ABO) has scheduled the next ABO and NCLE exam. NEXT EXAM DATE: May 1-15, 2018 Regular registration will open on January 16, 2018; Regular registration ends on April 1, 2018. Late registration ends April 15, 2018. To earn certification, you need to achieve a passing score on an examination. The exam consists of questions on the skills and knowledge required for competency in ophthalmic dispensing. Each staff member is responsible for registering and paying for the actual exam. TSO Network will provide one registration reimbursement for the ABO and NCLE exam fees for staff members one time only, regardless of whether he or she passes the test. All that is required for the reimbursement is proof that the test was taken and a receipt for the payment. You may obtain more information and request a registration packet from the ABO office by calling 1-800-296-1379. HELP!
