2 l July 2017 Network News VQ Special - Awards The TSO Platinum Practice Award recognizes those office teams that each year provides quality eye care to families in their community. During Vision Quest, three offices earned the designation Platinum Practice and received their awards shown below. All Platinum Practice Award recipients demonstrate personal growth as a team, strong management leadership, persistence to provide the highest quality eye care and an annual gross revenue of one million dollars or more. Most important and valuable is their willingness to share their experiences and what they have learned with other TSO Network members. This distinction is what makes the TSO Network unique and attractive to independent optometrists looking for affiliation with an optometric organization. This year posted impressive growth as the competition was quite close in the second and third place members but the first place was dominating in their performance. The TSO Member posting the largest percentage increase was Dr. Thomas Wilkins with his office located in Austin, Texas. Largest dollar increase was earned by Dr. Matthew Barber in Fort Worth, Texas. Second place percentage increase was earned by Dr. Benny Peña at the Bandera office in San Antonio, Texas and third place was earned by Dr. Matthew Barber from Fort Worth, Texas. Second place in the largest dollar increase was earned by Dr. Steve Stanfield from San Marcos, Texas and third place earned by Dr. Chris Warford from Baytown, Texas. Congratulations to all five members who were impressive in their growth during 2016 over the previous year.
