February 2018 l 25 Around the Network Dr. Avirett takes the Polar Bear Challenge Happy NewYear from the Hill Country! “We wanted to share this picture of Dr. Kayla Avirett in her eyeball costume. She wore this on New Year’s Day when she took the Mo-Ranch Polar Bear Challenge to help raise money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Texas Hill Country. It was 20 degrees outside when she went down the water slide which is 35 feet high and 116 feet long, and plunged into the 48 degree water.
