Dr. Simon has had a very international upbringing. She was born in Kuwait and grew up in Kuwait, India and the United States. She has lived in Chicago, Michigan and Wisconsin before settling in Sugar Land, TX with her family.

Dr. Simon received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston and Her Doctorate in Optometry from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry. During her education she served as the President of the Pre Optometry Professional Society at the University of Houston and was also her Optometry School's American Optometry Student Association's representative.

Dr. Simon is a Riverstone resident and speaks Malayalam fluently. During her free time she likes to bake and spend time with her husband and two daughters.
