A Spring native, Dr. Koch spent his early academic years right here in Klein ISD schools and later attended Texas A&M University, receiving a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science in just 3 years! He then attended University of Houston where, while also working as a tutor and teaching assistant, he earned his Doctorate of Optometry. Dr. Koch is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist and his professional interests include specialty contact lenses for both sports vision and medically indicated purposes as well as staying informed with the cutting edge surgical treatment options for the conditions he manages. His personal interests include sailing, barbecuing, and catching Aggie football away-games with his wife, who is also an optometrist.
