Dr. Ford is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and is trained in the management of ocular conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye, and macular degeneration. She is passionate about myopia management – slowing the progression of nearsightedness in children, along with improving vision in people with corneal abnormalities, such as keratoconus or post-surgical eyes that require medically necessary contact lenses. After starting her career at a private practice in League City, Texas, she is happy to be back in her hometown at TSO-Midcounty helping her patients look good, feel good and see good!

Dr. Layne Ford, a Southeast Texas native, is excited to call this area her home once more! She graduated with honors from Lamar University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
