Therapeutic Optometrist/Optometric Glaucoma Specialist
Jon House, OD grew up in the small town of Three Rivers Texas. He first became interested in eye care while working at a large eye care clinic with several ocular specialists during his undergraduate career. He is excited to bring his beautiful wife and two daughters to Bryan/College Station and looks forward to building lasting relationships with its citizens at TSO Bryan and TSO South College Station.
Dr. House believes that he developed several values while growing up in a small town that set him apart from other eye doctors.“When you are sitting in my chair it’s personal. Anyone can learn how to get a person to read the bottom line on an eye chart. I want to know about my patients and learn how I can be of assistance in a way unique to each person.” Dr. House also believes that careful examination and continuous care are the keys to maintaining good vision.“I don’t want you just seeing well today, I want to do everything I can to keep you that way.”
Dr. House is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist who can diagnose and treat many medical eye care conditions. In addition to taking care of a patient’s visual system at TSO Bryan and TSO South College Station, he believes that it is his job to help a person achieve awareness about their overall systemic health. “There are many systemic health problems that first show signs in the eye. These signs are often subtle but when detected can serve as important clues to helping a person achieve and maintain good overall health.”
Bachelor of Science Psychology, Texas State University Doctor of Optometry - University of Houston College Of Optometry
