Doctor Christy Jew is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist who practices family eye care in the Magnolia area. A native Texan, Dr. Jew graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics in 2003 and 2005. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2010 from the University of Houston College of Optometry. While in optometry school, Dr. Jew served as a teaching assistant and received several letters of excellence for her clinical performance. She completed her externships in the greater Houston area, and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.

Dr. Jew is a member of the Texas Optometry Association, the American Optometry Association, and the Magnolia Parkway Chamber of Commerce.
