Provider Statement

Dr. Angela Marcaccio at TSO Museum District is a native Houstonian who is the daughter of an Optometrist. Dr. Marcaccio is a frustrated Fashion Designer who loves to show the incredibly hip frames in her store to her patients. Her pet peeve is people wearing old style bifocals or ill-fitting frames because LIFE'S TOO SHORT TO WEAR UGLY SHOES OR UGLY GLASSES. Her goal at TSO Museum District is to provide superior eye care services and unique frames or the latest in contact lenses for her patients. Being born at the end of the Baby Boomer generation, Dr. Marcaccio understands the vision problems we are all experiencing but vows to fight Mother Nature all the way (and to help her patients look good while doing it).

She loves caring for her senior patients at TSO Museum District and solving the problems associated with the aging of the eyes and is still seeing many of her father’s 2nd and 3rd generation patients. In addition, those middle aged baby boomers in denial are a special favorite of hers.

Dr. Marcaccio completed her undergraduate work at Texas A&M. (Go Aggies!) She lives with her husband of 30 years, their 19 year old daughter (attending her first year at UT at Austin) and their 3 dogs. Dr. Marcaccio believes that LIFE IS GOOD.

I usually do not write reviews unless its a complaint but I was so very pleased with my recent appointment at TSO/MUSEUM DISTRICT that I had to write this review. The staff is very professional and very pleasant they give you the impression that they really care about your vision & your not just another patient. As soon as I walked in they made me feel very welcome & comfortable especially Dr. Marcaccio. With all the up-to-date equipment and the pictures Dr. Marcaccio took she was able to find hemorrhaging in the back of my eye and because of her I have a possible chance to SAVE MY EYE. People don't realize how important it is to have a exam on a regular basis!! The front staff is very informative & knowledgeable. After my exam they sat with me and took their time to help me pick the PERFECT pair and it wasn't easy they have such a huge selection of designer glass. I get so many compliments on my new pair of glass and what a plus!!!! some people tell me I look younger! LOL I AM SO GREATFUL FOR EVERYONE @ TSO/MUSEUM DISTRICT!! Dr. Marcaccio you are an excellent Doctor! its RARE to find a Doctor who cares enough to take their time and explain everything to you these days. Your kindness reflects down to your staff and it show.. I am recommending all my friends and family!! Thank you Dr. Marcaccio Martha, Denise & Cheslea Signed Anne V.
