Dr. Mark Richardson and his staff volunteered at World Missions Possible Clinic for the Homeless & Indigent at Clear Lake United Methodist Church in August.
“We served approximately 80 wellness and eye patients. We had several cases of pterygiums, cataracts, glaucoma, strabismus and lots of undiagnosed hypertension! We allotted scheduled optometrist appointments to three area organizations: Bay Area Turning Point Domestic Violence Shelter, Crossroads Shelter, and CLUMC Celebración Hispanic Ministry. Due to the unusually high amount of astigmatic and special needs patients, there were 19 special-order custom made glasses that World Missions Possible purchased. We would like to show appreciation to Dr. Richardson for being such a wonderful provider of eye care to the community,” stated a World Missions Possible representative.
On behalf of the TSO Network, we would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Richardson and his staff for caring for the Eyes of Texas through community service.
